There's No Such Thing as a Dragon by Jack Kent. A wonderful fable about a boy who awakens to find
a tiny dragon by his bed. He tells his mom who tells him there is no such thing. Then it gets bigger. He keeps telling people
who don't believe him and it gets larger until one person listens and believes. That is when the dragon begins to shrink.
Lesson learned is that in a child's mind and even in adult thinking, trying to deny what "is" takes up more space
and energy and thought that if we just admitted its existence. Can be used as a metaphor for many different topics.
The Fall of Freddie the Leaf by Leo Buscaglia: a beautiful metaphor for life
and death.
